shin megami tensei: nocturne As an agreement between Capcom and Atlus, if Dante was to appear in the special edition of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, then Kazuma Kaneko (designer of both Shin Megami Tensei and Zone of the Enders 2) would design Dante and Vergil's Devil May Cry 3 Devil Triggers. The game, itself, is absolutely amazing?and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good, long, complex RPG. After what's known as the "Conception" (the Apocalypse, basically) the world ends and humanity is lost. Because of his half-demon heritage, Dante survives the Apocalypse. He meets up with the main character twice in the game, hired by Lucifer to retain the lost Candelabrums, you get to fight him twice. In the end you can either choose to recruit him or kill him. It's said that, perhaps Dante feels a little sympathy toward the main character, as he is not fully demon nor human, either.
